Application for Degree Candidacy

Prior to graduating from UA South, every student seeking a bachelor’s degree must complete an application for degree candidacy (also called a senior degree check). This process allows you to meet with an advisor to review your degree plan and ensure you have fulfilled all degree requirements. At this time, you will also submit all the paperwork required to graduate from the University of Arizona. To learn more about how to initiate this process, visit the UA South Degree Check Procedure page.

Graduate Students

Graduate students do not complete the process for degree candidacy described above. Instead, graduate students planning on completing degree requirements by May or August 2011 must submit a Master’s/Specialist Plan of Study. The form is available by logging in with your UA NET ID and password to My Grad Coll. For questions or additional information, contact Carol Lehman (calehman@email.arizona.edu) or 520-458-8278 (Sierra Vista); 520-626-2422 (Tucson), extension 2123.
