Tuition and Fees
UA South offers students a quality University of Arizona degree at a lower cost than other public and private institutions in Arizona. By attending an Arizona community college for your first two years and transferring to UA South for your junior and senior years, you can save over $20,000 on tuition costs alone..
Financial Aid Coordinators at UA South can help you develop an effective plan for financing your education. Contact your local Student Services Coordinator or visit the Financial Aid website for more information.
For a complete and up-to-date listing of all UA fee rates, please see the Bursar's Office Tuition Calculator page.
NOTE: UA South students enrolled in both UA South and UA Main classes will pay a per unit Tuition Differential for each Main Campus class taken in the Fall or Spring semesters. UA South students participating in the Guaranteed Tuition Program (see below) will not pay a tuition differential for main campus classes.
Beginning in the Fall 2015 semester, UA South students will have the option to participate in a Guaranteed Tuition Program. The Guaranteed Tuition Program is the University of Arizona’s commitment to provide students with a constant tuition and mandatory fee rate, as set by the Arizona Board of Regents for eight (8) continuous semesters (summer and winter sessions excluded), beginning with the term of an undergraduate student’s initial enrollment at the UA. Since the average time to degree for UA South students is five (5) semesters, we encourage students to discuss their options with their Student Services Coordinator or Academic Advisor before opting into the program. Frequently asked questions about the Guaranteed Tuition Program can also be found here: http://www.bursar.arizona.edu/students/fees/gtp.
To opt-in to the UA South Guaranteed Tuition program, complete the Opt-In Form and submit it in person to your local UA South office or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org before the first day of classes of your first term at UA South. Only new students may opt-in at this time; continuing students are no longer eligible to opt-in to the Guaranteed Tuition program.
